Happy Fiscal New Year 2023

Yes, the “traditional” New Year celebration is still months away.  But here at ModSquad we’re wrapping up a little holiday we call “Fiscal New Year” as we bid goodbye to FY 22 and welcome FY 23.

Big ball drop? No. Hosted by Andy Cohen? Unlikely. Special musical guests? Not unless you count the finance team banging on pots and pans when they close the books on FY 22.

Did we make this holiday up?  Yup. In that way it is similar to Festivus though we prefer an Airing of Awesomeness instead of grievances.

Feels like party central around here. After all, we just finished celebrating our 15th year in business. How much cake can one company eat?

The best present of all is that the Metaverse is getting popular again. Our C-Suite swarmed the The Metaverse Summit where our very own Izzy Neis served as conference chair. Our OG Mods are sprucing up their avatars for a big year in virtual worlds.

Speaking of conferences, we hit the gaming circuit hard last year. Gaming is in our DNA. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about you, e-commerce.

We continued our winning streak by picking up another Stevie in Sales and Customer Service and another Globee for our work with Kalderos. (Note to self: add a line item for a bigger trophy case to the FY 23 budget.)

Hey, maybe we can keep the awards in our new Latin America Operations Center in Costa Rica

Top of mind right now is getting ready for our 9th year participating in Extra Life. Last year, with your help, Team ModSquad raised over $80,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This year we’re hoping to blow past $100K. Please join us on Nov 5th.

And we’re also already busy on what is sure to be the highlight of next year’s Fiscal New Year. No, we can’t tell you exactly what it is (yet), but it will change the future of remote work.

We just wanted to stop and take a moment to recognize the amazing team here at ModSquad. Your hard work and dedication has made FY 22 another success. Thanks and congratulations.

Here’s to FY 23!
