So what exactly is Extra Life? 

Each year, thousands of gamers from around the world converge online for Extra Life. The goal? Raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMNH). The main event? A 25-hour gaming and fundraising marathon that raises money to heal kids.

Since 2008, Extra Life has raised over $100 million for CMNH to change kids’ health to change the future. All donations fund critical life-saving treatments, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services.

And 2023 is an extra special year:  It’s Extra Life’s 15th anniversary. CMNH’s 40th anniversary. And our 10th anniversary supporting this great cause.  

Last year, we raised $106,000 for Extra Life. This year we’re aiming to raise another $100K! 

So how does it work? 

As always, the main event is the 25-hour gaming marathon live on Twitch. That’s right, we stay up all night playing games, accepting challenges, and collecting donations to change kids’ health. See all the details here. 

When does it go down? 

The main event starts on November 4th, 8 A.M. PT on Twitch.

We’ll be pre-streaming before that, so check our Twitch page starting October 23rd and running through Nov 3rd.
