“Do what you love” is classic advice that October’s Mod of the Month, Albert L., takes to heart. Albert loves video games and helping communities, so he gets to do what he loves every day.

“Before joining ModSquad, I gained valuable experience in moderation and player support across different games and platforms. I maintained a positive and respectful community environment and addressed user inquiries.” He credits games like Age of Empires and Pub G for his moderation knowledge and expertise. “I developed the skills necessary for effective content moderation, which I bring to my role at ModSquad.”

Albert is now a Discord moderator on some of the world’s best-known games. He loves being a Mod and the responsibility that comes with the job. “I take pride in removing harmful content to ensure the safety of online communities. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I help create a positive and safe online environment for users. My commitment to this important task is what I’m most proud of.”

Albert also notes, “ModSquad values diversity and inclusivity, which aligns with my own beliefs. The professionalism of the people working at ModSquad reflects their dedication to providing top-notch service, and that is very important to me.”

When he’s off the clock, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Albert loves to travel and has visited cities in his home country of Turkey as well as the UK, Canada, and Spain. In his travels, he enjoys visiting caves to absorb the history and culture of the location. Albert also counts among his hobbies playing video games, watching movies, playing piano, swimming, and constantly learning new things.
