Showing Gratitude This Holiday Season

It’s that time of year, when we take the time to reflect on the important things in our lives. Like, for example, the people who make every day full of smiles and laughter.

We reached out to our Mods to see what made them thankful this holiday season. These are some of our favorite quotes, which celebrate everything from family to workplace friendships.

Thankful For Family

“I try to reflect on what I am thankful for more than just once a year, and every time I do, it’s the usual suspects: My kids, they really are the best and make all the days worth it.  My friends, I have such a fierce group that continually shows up for each other and I couldn’t be more grateful. My family, one thing I can always count on is if I need them, they will be there.” – Tera T.

“I have lost many important things along the path of life, but what makes me feel grateful is to know that my family is safe in all cases. If we keep together, we can move mountains. I’m so proud to have them in my life!” – Bryan M.

“This year I’m thankful for the simple things in life, reading my favorite book with a cup of tea or playing football with my family. The awesome job that allows me to be from home, the great tacos from the corner of my home. These are the things that really matter to me, especially given the hard times the world has been going through.“ – Itzel S.

“My family means the world to me. My husband and daughter support me through highs and lows, and I like to think that I do the same for them. This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for everything that they’ve given me. My life wouldn’t be the same without the joy and love they give me.” – Rochelle H.

Thankful for Fuzzy Friends

“I’m grateful for these two little furballs, Gibson (the Australian Shepard) and Ryder (the Corgi mix). These two provide endless entertainment for my husband and I with their silly antics, warm cuddles and endless energy. They are the true definition of unconditional love, and I couldn’t ask for better pups. They grab attention wherever they go (which is everywhere)! They truly are our best friends. We love you, Ryder and Gibson!” – Ashley M.

“I’m thankful for my lil man Hotchner who has consumed my life!” – Sarah P.

Thankful for ModSquad

“I’m thankful for my ModSquad teams, their creativity, hard work, and expertise. I’m thankful for the health of my friends and family. I’m thankful for my daughter. And, I’m thankful for all the amazing people who helped us on this journey from foster to adoption (we’re almost there!). Community means everything.” – Izzy Neis

“I am tremendously grateful that I was able to join ModSquad at the beginning of 2022 and now it is almost the end of the year. I’m thankful for the many amazing Mods who encouraged me along the way. I have such a warm feeling here and I can say ModSquad offered me the best overall working experience. Thank you so much.” – Chae M.

“I am grateful for the support and love I’ve been getting from my friends, family and co-workers. We all have moments that affect our lives dramatically. These moments, however, can lead to amazing friendships that last a lifetime. I’ve always believed in the power of words but my project team has made me believe in the power of sincerity and affection as well. I am so lucky to have met the people I work with at ModSquad. I owe a debt of gratitude to my friends, my manager/s and co-workers. Thanks to you, I know that as long as we keep staying awesome, everything will turn out perfectly.” – Burak C.

“I’m thankful for the encouragement I receive as part of the MSQ team! I’m also thankful for caffeine, Mexican food, and Beyoncé!” – Jamie H.

“As we wrap up the year, I’m thankful for all the many good memories. From the funny, prankish, and trolling moments from my family, to being able to work alongside some remarkable people at ModSquad. I’m also thankful for all the support and new opportunities that I’m so fortunate to have and for the new music, movies, video games, and anime to be released soon. THANK YOU!” – Ann S.

So many reasons to be grateful this year!
