How to describe Rhonda D. in three words? We’d say hardworking, communicative, and supportive. She’s earned the attention and admiration of those working on her projects as well as other managers here at ModSquad. As our latest Project Manager of the Quarter, we couldn’t wait to share more about her. Rhonda has an amazing work ethic, a strong belief in the Mods she works with, and an excellent sense of humor. Her interview was filled both with laughs and insightful responses about what it means to be a leader here at ModSquad.

Before diving into what makes Rhonda such a unique Project Manager, let’s back up and discover what led her to joining ModSquad. As it happens, she was introduced to the company by a former coworker, Jason Ferguson, who encouraged her to apply. While she initially joined as a Mod in 2010, it didn’t take Rhonda long to prove herself to be an exceptional worker. She later applied for and was brought on as a ModSquad Project Manager. 

Now settled into her role, Rhonda truly believes in her Mod colleagues. “Communication is the key to success, whether it’s with clients or Mods,” she explains. “An important part of this role is to provide the necessary information and materials to ensure the Mods are fully prepared. It’s important for me to feel I gave it my all, and just as important for my colleagues and my own managers to have that same confidence.” 

She truly believes that the secret to success is cultivating a group in which she places complete trust, one that can in turn have that same faith in her. It’s no wonder, then, that so many here at ModSquad put stock in Rhonda and her abilities. Here’s what a few of her colleagues have to say about her work:

Of course, it’s not all work and no play for Rhonda! When not leading the Mods to excellence, she can be found enjoying a different kind of group activity — football. An ardent fan of the N.C. State Wolfpack Club, she’s made lifelong friends through this passion. Perhaps more than the game itself, her favorite activity is tailgating with friends she’s known for more than 25 years. As she puts it, “Football is all about tailgating!”

We can’t help but see Rhonda as the winning coach of her own squad on all of the projects she’s managed. Without a doubt, she’s led her Mods to victory. Three cheers to that!
