With the new year underway, we head to South Carolina to meet our first Mod of the Month of 2022. Say hello to Jazmine M! Jazmine is working on several customer support and moderation projects, helping customers via email, live chat, and watching over clients’ social channels.

Outside of work, Jazmine absolutely loves cinema, anime, and television, particularly when it comes to topics of magic and exceptional circumstances. Two of her favorite binges are Supernatural and the Harry Potter series, both of which delve into unique worlds filled with magic, mystery, and heroics.

But that’s not her only passion. When not performing her Mod duties, Jazmine can be found spending time with her family, which includes her new husband, along with her mom, sister, brothers, sister-in-law, and her wonderful nephews and baby niece. Rounding things out is her four-legged child, a cat named Nyla.

Her family introduced her to another love: cooking. “I absolutely love cooking and baking,” says Jazmine. “I’ve been cooking since I was about five years old, when I’d help my mom in the kitchen, baking and testing new things.”

Here at ModSquad, she’s approaching her lucky seventh anniversary. In that time, she’s gained a lot of admiration for her cool head and her willingness to go above and beyond.

What makes her approach to customer support so marvelous? It’s one word that we cover time and again: empathy. “A great customer experience always starts with empathy.” Jazmine explains. “I feel that if you can relate to your customer and put yourself in their shoes, it’ll be much easier to assist them. I always let the customer know that we’re listening to their concerns. I take pride in knowing that I’m able to help people as much as I do.”

Beyond her support skills, Jazmine is also known for her commitment to the Mod community. She has a genuine connection with ModSquad that stems from working with Project Managers, Account Managers, and other Mods. “Everyone is very warm and welcoming,” she says. “Honestly, it feels like a huge family that looks out for one another. It makes me proud to be a part of such an amazing company.”

Jazmine credits that support with helping her succeed in her roles. “ModSquad ensures that we’re giving our customers the best experience possible by providing us with the tools and documentation we need to address our customers’ concerns.” Beyond that, Jazmine points to another factor that makes ModSquad stand out from other companies: “It’s our work ethic. We work hard to deliver excellent customer experiences for our clients.”
