Happy (Fiscal) New Year 2022!

While we may not be watching the ball drop in Times Square, we’ve still got our New Year’s party hats on and are ready to celebrate! Like many companies, ModSquad’s fiscal year doesn’t align with the calendar year, and our new business year just got underway on October 1. So as we close the books on FY2021, let’s take a moment from planning our next big initiatives to look back on the past 12 months and all of the wonderful moments we’ve shared as a company.

A year ago, as the rest of the world was either trying to acclimate to the work-from-home model or slowly bringing business back to the office, we at ModSquad were firing on all cylinders. Regular readers of this blog are well versed in our remote model –  one that we’ve been perfecting since 2007 and that requires a very specific set of skills. We never slowed down, and our clients benefitted from our “always on” approach. We even used our WFH expertise to provide some savvy insights in a special webinar for busy parents trying to juggle remote work with parenting in the digital era.

The shift from in-person experiences also required major adjustments from industry conferences. ModSquad’s hearty team of road warriors will typically hit many of the major events of a good number of industries. But that all changed, with ModSquad either attending or presenting at conferences virtually. As real-world meets carefully start up, we look forward to reconnecting with colleagues new and old.

You know what didn’t slow down over the past year? If you guessed “ModSquad’s awards and industry recognition,” you probably read ahead or are the world’s best guesser. Either way, you’re right! During this fiscal year, we’ve snagged three major awards to add to our already impressive collection, if we do say so ourselves. Thanks to our awesome Mods’ work, ModSquad was named the Gold winner at the Golden Bridge Awards (for the second consecutive year).

Then, for the fourth year in a row, ModSquad took home a coveted Stevie Award, winning the Bronze in the Sales & Customer Service category for Contact Center or Customer Service Outsourcing Provider of the Year. To cap things off, we also took home a Gold Globee® Sales and Customer Service Excellence Award in the 8th Annual 2021 Customer Sales and Service World Awards. Heck, our Mods are so insanely talented, we may even see a Grammy Award in their future!

What these awards tell the world at large is what we already know: The Mods are unsurpassed in their work. Our clients recognize that as well, which is why we regularly allow them to take the floor in praise of the Mods. In our latest case studies and client spotlights, discover the reasons:

We always take the time to get to know the Mod community better, and FY21 was no exception. Mods showed off their artistic sides and shared pics of their best Halloween garb. They revealed their travel dreams and offered gratitude for the things they love most.

The world got to know some of ModSquad’s brightest stars in our year-end Mod Holidays and Bestofus Festivus celebrations, and throughout the year in our popular Mod of the Month series. Along the way, Mods shared their favorite movies, TV shows, games, music, and books. We all came together to participate in our own Mod Games, which coincided with the Tokyo Games. Finally, we explored the ways our Mods are working to make a difference to our world.

To that end, in FY21 ModSquad participated, for the seventh straight year, in the 24-hour Extra Life fundraising event. Team ModSquad raised an astonishing $63,000 in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and landed at #15 of more than 5,000 teams around the world. What’s more, we’ve already been working behind the scenes in preparation of this year’s event, where our goal is to crush last year’s donations total!

All of this goodness and great work is thanks to the incredible Mods and everyone at ModSquad. As we kick off a new year, we thank those who made FY21 one to remember. Here’s to a great fiscal year 2022!
