Football has a special place in our hearts at Metaverse Mod Squad. Perhaps the only company in the world with its origins in a virtual sports bar, we long for Sundays in the fall, talk smack in our company fantasy football league and especially love our jobs working as moderators and community managers for NFLRush Zone.

Our CEO Amy Pritchard in the Bay Area is a huge San Francisco 49ers fan.  As you can imagine, she’s fired up about this weekend’s Super Bowl matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.  She’s taken to signing her emails this week “GO NINERS!!!!”

I’m based in New Orleans (Who Dat!) and with the Super Bowl here in town this week, I’m hosting some of our investors from Silicon Valley for the big weekend.  They brought me a 49ers shirt, so I’m having fun posing as a 49ers fan and taking in the sights and sounds of the greatest sporting extravaganza on Earth.

My prediction?  Kaepernick throws for two touchdowns and runs in another as the Niners win 24-17.  Nothing against our friends in Baltimore, but for today, it’s “GO NINERS!!!!”
